Like a peaceful clearing in the middle of a forest, we create spaces that are at once restful retreats and whimsical settings celebrating the abundance, magic and creativity of the natural world. At Alexis Banks Humiston, we bring wonder inside.
American-born Alexis Banks Humiston’s innate love of design was nurtured by a cross-cultural London upbringing that honored decorative arts history, tradition, and craftsmanship, then found its full expression in the bright light, wild spaces and fierce independence of Northern California. After six years in finance that taught Alexis business and project management skills, she honed her visual talents as a student at New York’s Parsons School of Design and as a designer at influential New York-based Victoria Hagan Interiors. It was a move to Northern California in 2015 that animated the full expression of her work.
Alexis Banks Humiston’s work has been featured in various design publications, including Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, California Home & Design, Livingetc, and Homes & Gardens.
